Gurband is responsible for the finance and accounting function across the Cedar portfolio. Previously, he held finance and corporate development roles at EY, Cognizant, and Uplight.
Taylor is responsible for the talent and people function across the Cedar portfolio. Previously, she served as the COO of Novalaw, as a content executive at both Hulu and Netflix, and competed in the 2012 Olympic Games, winning Gold alongside her rowing teammates.
Matthew is responsible for driving Cedar’s inorganic growth across our State and Local and Defense and Intelligence verticals. Prior to Evergreen, Matthew was an Associate on the strategy consulting team at AlphaSights.
Dylan is an SVP portfolio leader at Cedar overseeing growth and operations. He also serves as COO at M1, where he joined in 2022 to scale the business’s back office and business development capabilities. Prior to M1, Dylan worked as an Associate at Evergreen on their operations team. Additionally, he has worked at Raymond James Financial in their technology investment banking group in San Francisco and in business analytics at a digital media startup in Hong Kong.
Katie is a seasoned accounting professional with a proven track record of driving financial excellence and operational efficiency. Combining strategic insight with a commitment to transparency, she ensures fiscal responsibility and supports organizational success. Katie holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Idaho, highlighting her strong foundation in financial stewardship.
With a strong foundation in consolidation and reporting, Daniel brings extensive experience in implementing technical accounting standards and enhancing operational efficiencies.
His background spans public accounting and industry roles, where he’s excelled in managing complex audit engagements and driving process improvements.
Tim is currently a Partner, leading global operations at Evergreen. In this role, he oversees strategic operations, works directly with Evergreen’s CEOs, and plays a pivotal role in driving organic growth and efficiency within the organization. Prior to becoming a partner, Tim served as the CEO of Helix Technology Partners, one of Evergreen’s portfolio companies, and has been instrumental in shaping Evergreen’s success since 2019.
Brad is the Co-Founder and COO of Evergreen and is responsible for Evergreen’s organic growth, cultivating world-class talent, and ensuring Evergreen is the best home for businesses. Brad spends his time working with company leaders on both strategy and tactics, ensuring they have necessary resources, and building out Evergreen’s operating infrastructure.
Kunal is a member of the M&A team at Evergreen, where he evaluates and executes investments across Evergreen’s industry verticals. He interned and worked part-time with Evergreen before beginning full-time. Prior to Evergreen, Kunal interned at Creative Ventures – an early-stage, deep-technology focused VC firm.
Kunal graduated from UC Berkeley with a major in Economics and a minor in Data Science. Outside of the classroom, Kunal held several leadership positions with The Berkeley Group and enjoyed playing intramural sports. He loves cooking for friends and is an avid Formula 1 supporter.
Kevin Higgins served a distinguished 30-year career for the Central Intelligence Agency, where he most recently served as Chief of Staff to CIA Director William J. Burns. He assisted the Director with executing the Agency’s global intelligence mission and confronting our nation’s most intractable national security challenges and emerging threats. His previous roles include Assistant Director of CIA for Africa and Chief of Operations of CIA’s Counterterrorism Center.
Don is an innovative & versatile senior executive with 20+ yrs. of experience in strategies across the Intelligence Community (IC), the Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civilian Agencies, & various commercial technology markets. He has a history of assembling high-impact & cohesive, cross functional teams by attracting & empowering leaders & technical experts to generate business growth, profitability, & increase shareholder value.
Kevin joined the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) in July 2013 as Deputy Director of National Intelligence for Enterprise Capacity. Prior to his service to the ODNI, Meiners served as Deputy Undersecretary of Defense (DUSD) for Portfolios, Programs, and Resources in the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence (USD(I)) and in a variety of leadership positions within the Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense where he focused on advanced unmanned and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) systems.
